"In late 2022, the Kirby family purchased a 12-hectare property in Campania, Tasmania, deep in the heart of the Coal River Valley. Five hectares of vineyard was established in 2017 (80% Pinot Noir, 20% Chardonnay). A further four hectares was planted in 2023. The inaugural release of our single vineyard Chardonnay and Pinot Noir from the Coal River Valley was the 2023 vintage, launched in spring 2024. The wines are under their own distinct ‘Coal River Valley’ label within the Yabby Lake stable of wines."
